Sending or replying to emails is a tedious part of many professional’s day to day. AZBS knows you’re busy, so here’s a quick tip that can save you a lot of time. When sending or replying to emails where the same message is frequently required, creating auto-text can be a lifesaver. It only takes a minute, and can save you hours in the future. To create auto-text, follow these simple steps below:
- Create new email, and click in the body of the message, and type your canned response.
- Highlight the text, then click the Insert tab, and click Quick Parts, then “Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery…”
- When you see this Window, create a “Name” that is appropriate for the Canned Response, then choose OK.
- To test your canned response, open a new email, placing your cursor in the body of the text, click the Insert tab, Quick Parts, and choose your desired response. Your message will appear in the body of the text.
